Application Process
Here’s how the LanguageCorps Application Process works...
- Complete our online Application.
- Within approximately a week you will be contacted by a LanguageCorps team member to schedule and complete a brief telephone interview.
- Once we have processed and approved your Application (typically 5-7 business days following your interview), we’ll send a preliminary acceptance e-mail to you.
- Along with the preliminary acceptance comes the final questionnaire: a short series of essay questions which you are to take a week (no less) to complete with help from friends, family, and mentors. The essays serve both to validate your reasons for joining LanguageCorps and to prepare you to get the most from your experience. Simultaneously, LanguageCorps conducts various required background checks.
- Lastly, we require a written confirmation that you intend to join LanguageCorps (e-mail is fine), and a non-refundable Deposit of US$500 to reserve your place in the program – the remainder of your Fee is due approximately ten days prior to departure from your home country.
- Once we have received your deposit, we will reserve your place in the program, send you an information package with country facts, packing suggestions, vaccination information, etc., and begin the visa process.
THAT’S IT! You’re on your way to an exciting teaching adventure abroad, as a LanguageCorps teacher!
