Jerry oversees strategy and policy for the company, managing international operations and insurance programs for LanguageCorps Teachers. He is a former senior executive in Human Resources for major multi-national companies in the high tech marketplace, including Compaq and Nortel. Jerry earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Northern Illinois University. |

Jessica Doerr, Strategic Development & Recruiting Director
Jessica oversees recruiting, communications, and institutional outreach. A native of the St. Louis area, Jessica has BAs from Truman State University in French and Political Science and an MA in International and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training (SIT). Prior professional experience includes graduate admissions counseling, language teaching, and arts management.

Linda manages Teacher support services. She is a former executive whose 20+ years of professional experience include specializations in client satisfaction programs and international funds transfers. Linda has traveled throughout Europe and the Pacific, and has guided her eldest child's service projects in Latin America. She holds a bachelors degree in Foreign Languages from California State University. |

Jan Patton, Admissions Director
Jan manages the application process for LanguageCorps. She has a background in Social Work, as well as Human Resources Management, including over ten years experience in recruiting and college relations. Jan completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, and completed a Master’s Degree in Social Work at Boston University. |

Jed is a founding partner of LanguageCorps. A former public relations consultant and market analyst, Jed has traveled extensively and is a former editor of Let’s Go: Middle East. He is an active member of NAFSA (National Association of International Educators) and serves on the Editorial Board of Abroad View and the Senior Advisory Board of Business for Diplomatic Action. Jed holds a bachelors degree in History from Harvard, where he is also currently a student of Public Diplomacy at the Kennedy School of Government.

David Egan
David is a founding partner of LanguageCorps. A former publisher and media company senior executive, and a successful entrepreneur, David was most recently a co-founder of THINQ Learning Solutions, a leading maker of learning management software. |

Purvi Patwari
Purvi was the first Operations Director for LanguageCorps. She is a former Human Resources manager with extensive experience in international recruiting, cultural assimilation programs, and immigration administration. |

Hemang Dave
Hemang helped clarify ideas during the founding of LanguageCorps, and continues to advise the company. He was a co-founder and Chairman of THINQ Learning Solutions. His career in high technology has spanned 20+ years. He was a senior strategy executive at Lotus Development Corporation, and at Internet incubator CMGi, where he helped build five successful start-up companies. Currently, he is an independent investor, with specific interest in the Asia market. |

Lorna Stern
Lorna advises in areas of program development. She is the founder of Lorna Stern Associates, an educational consulting firm that advises international education programs in areas of marketing, development, publication and strategic development. Lorna has over 20 years of experience in study abroad and international student exchange. She was Deputy Director of the Center for Education Abroad at Arcadia University and administrator of the International Living Center at Cornell University. |
